Today we installed two 2500 gallon water storage tanks for a customer starting up rooftop rainwater collection. Rooftop collection is a great way to store water for all purposes.

This water softener is one of our most common systems being set up nowadays. It takes out iron and manganese ect with the media inside which acts as a magnet to attract all of the bad stuff trying to get into your water.

This is a system we set up recently in which the customer had traces of iron and manganese in their water and a low PH. This made the water not up to the B.C and Canadian water standards. The water is drawn in by the jet pump, goes from the jet pump to the blue pressure tank which pressurizes the house. Then the water makes its way into the water softener (black tank) which gets rid of Iron/manganese and softens hardened water. The water goes to the PH adjuster that corrects the PH as close to 7 as it can, and lastly the UV filter which kills the reproduction of bacteria

Shocking a well kills the bacteria and cleans the water lines to the house. It is essential to maintain steady up keep of your well to insure your drinking water is staying as clean as possible. A shallow well should be shocked more frequently every 6 months compared to a deep well which should be done every year according to Vancouver Island Health Authority. Having a filtration system you won't have to shock as often, this includes UV Lights, chlorine injection system and reverse osmosis systems.
