Valentine's Sunday Brunch? Order some Coasties, then whip up this simple vegan hollandaise: Ingredients:... - 1 cup Oat milk - 2 Tbsp Turmeric powder - 1 Lemon - 2 Tbsp Flour (use GF if you want) - 2 Tbsp Olive oil In a saucepan, heat olive oil and stir in flour to make a roux. Zest lemon, and squeeze juice into a small bowl. Add turmeric, oat milk, lemon zest and juice to the pan and stir. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. The sauce will thicen as it cools.

@CoastieCraft Velo City Veg burger with smoky @TempeaFoods strips! This combo makes for a legendary burger night Want to make it for yourself? Scoop, Shape and Sear up some fresh Velo City Veg burgers and follow this recipe for smoky tempeh strips: 1 package of Tempea... 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce 1 tbsp avocado oil (+ 1 tsp) 1 tsp maple syrup 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 tbsp water optional: a few drops of liquid smoke 1. In a Tupperware container that fits the length of the tempeh block, mix together all the ingredients except tempeh. 2. Slice tempeh into strips and add to the marinade container for at least 15 minutes. The longer the better! 3. Once marinated, remove the strips from the liquid and place in a pan with 1 tsp of oil. Cook over medium heat until crispy. Assemble your burger with the smoky tempeh and any other topping you like! If you haven't tried Vancouver’s best Tempea yet, GO BUY SOME NOW!
