Tenant insurance will cover you in case something happens to your stuff. In some cases, you’ll be reimbursed for what the value of an item is at the time of replacement. So the great turntable you bought 15 years ago? You would be reimbursed based on the replacement cost, minus any depreciation. In some cases you get reimbursed based on replacement cost.
