Not a new policy, just a friendly reminder - please no drop ins. If you’ve been sick, are experiencing cold and flu symptoms, have been around somebody who is sick or you have travelled anywhere please wait a period of 14 days before coming here and send somebody else to pick up your order. When you come to pick up your feed - access to the storage unit will now be limited to just me. I ask you all to please wait outside or wait in your car. Let me know where you want me to put the order and I’ll load it into your car or truck for you. Thank you all for respecting these new policies. We appreciate each and every one of you. We are so excited to officially announce that we are hosting another Equine Osteopath and Health week! Services will be provided from B3 Equine Therapy, Dr Steven Nicholson, Jo Woolsey (Aurora Wind Feeds) and Brenna Carrigan (Coastline Equine Services) Osteopaths, Veterinarian and Nutrition consultants! Also planning a nutrition seminar one evening as well open to the general public! This team changed the lives of so many horses and people last spring when we all got togethe...r. It really still blows my mind and I’m equally excited for the learning experience and to help my own horses get sorted to be at their peak performance level before show season! Loading a horse into a trailer. Many people especially the less experienced have trouble in this area. The main point to most is putting the horse IN the trailer and it doesn’t make much different to the human HOW he goes in. Well, it makes a lot of difference to the horse for the rest of his life. Try to make loading the horse into the trailer the horses idea. Try to make it a good experience. To the horse the trailer looks like a trap. Each horse is an individual and we need to recognize the difference between FEAR and SELF PRESERVATION or SPOILED BEHAVIOUR. We need to adjust to fit the situation. - Ray Hunt
