Saturday, June 29th was derby day at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley. Congratulations to Alexis Silvernale and "Nostalgic" from Aleron Training Stables in Bellevue, WA on winning the 3'6" Cobblestone Farm Hunt & Handy Derby. What an incredible ride! Congratulations also to John French and our gelding "Nordeney" who finished 1st among 45 competitors in the 3'3" Green Hunter Cobblestone Derby. This is the second consecutive win for "Nordeney" who won this class last year with ...amateur rider Megan Champoux on board. Also, many thanks to our wonderful Cobblestone Team who worked so hard to make last week one of the best horse shows ever! Last but not least, a note of appreciation to Jane Tidball and Chris Pack of Thunderbird Show Park for delivering a first-class event. Thanks to their efforts, the annual "Cobblestone Hunt & Handy Derby" is getting better and better every year. See more
