Debt, most of us carry it, pay for it, and if we don't, we try not to think of the consequences. What if someone paid all that debt in full? How would you feel? Someone did paid for all of our debt. Jesus did. He took it upon Himself to take all your sins' consequences on Himself. He died in your place to take the consequences of your sins. He did so with great love and joy. Striking to think that an innocent man that's convicted of a bogus crime then sentenced to death, would not keep yelling or pleading that he is in fact innocent or not guilty. He knew the plan, and He wasn't a hesitant participant. He was the initiator of this plan. Please share what you are grateful for in Jesus' sacrifice for us.

It's ingrained in our stories of the "hero" archetype. The hero that would lay down his life for his fellow man. But what about a hero who would lay down his life for his enemy. That is exactly what Jesus Christ did. He came down and received the punishment in our place for our sins. How would you react to someone giving their life for you? Please share your thoughts.

You might have seen videos where people have been given an over the top gift and they couldn't keep in their emotions. The God of this universe has given a personal, sacrificial, and costly gift to us. It is the life of His very own Son, Jesus Christ to die the death that we fully deserve. He knew that we couldn't save ourselves nor pay the debt that we owe to God. So God, in His love, chose to be the payment on our behalf. All He asks is to receive it by believing. Will you believe it?
