Lee served as a site superintendent in Northern Manitoba throughout the past cold winter months, he jokes it’s his new home. His contributions to both our community rinks and hybrid fabric building gym and daycare facility with Bison Container Homes have been invaluable. Without Lee, these projects don’t meet our high-quality standards. Lee managed over a dozen employees and local tradespeople while working long days himself, with few days off. This weekend Lee got to see community members step into the projects he supervised, and it put a big smile on his face (under his mask). Our company has two main focuses: sales and installation of fabric tension buildings, and fabricating modified shipping containers (Bison Contain...er Homes) to be used as offices, tool cribs, and all the way up to community buildings such as a gymnasium. The successful candidate will be extremely outgoing and be able to work in a fast paced, rapid-growth environment. A constant focus on client service and collaboration is a must for all team members. An ability to travel to project locations is a must as well as work out of our shop located in Garson, Manitoba. Job Description: Duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Complete rough framing including installing exterior doors and windows. Complete finish carpentry including T&G pine, interior doors, casing. Keep work-space organized. Perform general shop for assistance. Requirements for this position include: (preference will be given to candidates who possess the following) Framing and finishing experience. Experience in carpentry. Experience in a shop environment and mechanical knowledge is an asset. Basic knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools. Able to work in a team environment and independently. Positive attitude, and energetic. Good communication skills, customer service friendly to all company related personnel. Candidates will have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Our mechanical division is back out at a mining site in the Canadian Prairies where they’re taking care of all the heavy-duty installations for the client’s fabric building wash bay. This make-up air unit helps keep fresh air inside the wash bay by heating the incoming cold air. It has a 120-kilowatt electrical coil that allows new, fresh air to occupy the building.
