The Market by the Bow is CLOSED for the Season! A huge thanks to everyone that made our 2020 market a success despite the challenges of COVID-19. We are so fortunate to have an amazing and resilient community of vendors that adapted to the new mode of operating a market stall. Over four months of Saturdays the market welcomed over 30,000 customers to our new location. Thank-you to our loyal customers for respecting market rules and for trusting that we would provide a safe ...environment for you to shop local, supporting the many families that make, bake and grow the food. Maintaining and supporting the local food chain was crucial and our highest priority for this unprecedented year. The Cochrane Farmers' Market is extremely grateful for the support of Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in allowing us to use their parking lot for the 2020 season, providing the much needed additional space required to operate under COVID-19. Every Saturday we enjoyed one of the most beautiful views of the big hills of Cochrane!

Last Saturday the Cochrane Farmers' Market spontaneously hosted its first ever "topless" market! Our typically colourful market looked more like a parking lot as our vendors opted to brave the 20-40+ km/hr winds without their canopies. Our hats are off to our resilient vendors that managed a very windy day with grace and good humour. Thanks also to our customers that didn't let a little breeze hamper their visit to the market to support our local producers! We look forward to welcoming everyone again this Saturday - fingers crossed for perhaps a little less wind..... (reminder: only 4 more markets before the end of the season, time to start stocking up!)
