Lest we forget

Osteopathy uses very skilled palpation to identify subtle changes in the body’s tissues. This is a skill that takes time and hands on practice and validation. Even after 7 years of in class, hands-on learning and a research thesis, I am still developing and refining this skill. I anticipate it to continue for many more years. Education in osteopathy that is less than 4 years, or that lacks in-person learning from appropriately trained Osteopathic Manual Therapsts, is inadequate.
