1st Cochrane Scouts

It was a very special day for Alex our Troop Leader and our local Cochrane & Area Humane Society. Alex has just earned his Chief Scout Award through almost four years of hard work. Part of the award is to plan a Capstone Project and Alex developed a sustainable form of enrichment toys for for our local humane society to give to animals in their care. This is the highest award youth can earn as a Scout through volunteer hours and personal progression. Congratulations to Alex on a job well done. #chinookcouncil #scoutscanada #scoutsdostuff

The Cubs woke to the snow on their tents this weekend at end of year camp but perservered and were rewarded with beautiful weather for canoeing at Camp Impeeza.

Our Seeonee Award Howlers raised money for a bench which they presented tonight to Maureen Wills and the Frank Wills hall board. Congratulations to our Seeonee Howlers!

This weather didn't dampen our Cubs spirits this morning as they worked towards their Paddling Skills badges on Ghost Lake!
