Life sure does throws you for a loop. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s to be versatile and adaptable. In November I was consistent with my workouts and I was seeing huge strength gains until it all came to a haunt. In mid November I had an ovarian cyst rupture, resulting in a significant amount of internal bleeding. From then onwards I have been directed to take it easy, minimal workouts and plenty of rest. I’ve been pretty tired due to the blood loss. ... I’ve been given the go-ahead to begin light workouts again, still no running or high impact. I’m well aware that the next few weeks will be a challenge, mentally & physically, to get back into my workout routine. I’m not as strong as I was 6 weeks ago but that’s ok. I’ll get back there. This is just showing that we all struggle & have setbacks. Even the fitness professionals

Hi I'm Robyn, It's been a while since I last introduced myself. I am a Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, mompreneur and all around great person (I like to think so).... Cochrane Women's Fitness came to be after the birth of my 2nd (of 3) kids was born in 2016. I left my personal training job at a busy gym and began this journey. Five fun facts about me: 1: I've been a Personal Trainer since 2009, certified through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (@csep_scpe) 2: If I'm not at home I'm probably in the mountains hiking, camping, mountain biking or skiing. 3: I was a colourguard in marching bands as a teenager (@showbandcs) 4: I taught myself to #crochet in 2020 while living the c0vid life 5: I ran cross country races in college, racing at provincial and national races! credit to @rachelambertphotography See more

Cottage cheese might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a high protein snack. Did you know that cottage cheese packs a punch in the protein department.
