COCO OAT handcrafted soap

AVOCADO SEED powder soap update 1: I was finally able to sneak sometime aside while the kiddies nap to make this avocado seed powder soap. It’s in the oven right now going through the saponification process where the lye turns oils and butters to soap. I’m so excited to see the colour the seed makes... Scented with lavender essential oil. P.S. I’m not baking the soap, I put in oven to keep the temp warm for force the soap to heat up even throughout the loaf. Stay tuned, the suspense continues....

Don’t know how I feel about this bubble tea inspires soap....It was a lot of work to pull together the different elements like the pearls, ice, straws and the tea itself. Maybe less is more, I’ll keep that in mind on my next attempt. Sigh

Guess + W I N - what colour soap do you think this powder will make? If you get it right I’ll send you a bar. I’ve been experimenting with different fruits, herbs, and leaves, etc colour soap. This is ground up seeds. It smell buttery goodness. What colour soap do you think it’ll make? I haven’t made the soap yet so we’ll find out the results together.

Scented with peppermint and lemon essential oils. Off to the curing rack :)
