Most Powerful Cutter in the Rescue Tool Industry! S799e2 / eWXT - 8 inch Cutter! My recent article with our Code 4 Fire & Rescue Canada magazine. ... With the ever-changing construction Methods from the automotive industry. We have learned that new cars no longer cut but rather fracture and break! This is putting a tremendous amount of stress on our rescue cutters that can lead to unsuccessful cuts or cutters not being big enough to get around these more large and more robust body structures. HURST Jaws of Life & LUKAS Rescue Rescue engineers have developed a complete new series of cutters to manage these materials. Our S799 scored the highest ratings of 45/45 on the NFPA Cut Scale with the new F5 Cut rating! Making it out most powerful cutter ever! New Box Style Blade has over an 8inch opening and 6 inches of depth allowing rescuers to do full cuts at one time. The large opening also significantly reduces cutter migration resulting in a more controlled cut. It addition, the blade geometry now fractures the Post at 4 points instead of 2 points resulting in a more efficient cut. Drop Forged Quadruple Heat Treated Blades This process adds additional safety and reliability to our blade construction and is approximately 30% stronger then our previous black plate steel Blades. All Hurst Cutters and Combination Tools share this technology delivering the Safest blades in the Industry. C Channel Blade construction This design allows the blades to flex and have ductility when faced with the hardest materials. These new structures fracture in break and the blade design absorbs energy instead of transferring it to the tool and eventually the operator and also significantly reduce the risk of blade breakage resulting in more safety for the operator and patient. For more information please don’t hesitate to send me a message. Thank you! #jawsoflife #neverstoptraining #code4fire

We have some really amazing partners in the community that help make these important training evolutions possible. Today we would like to thank Emcon Services inc for their generous donation of 2 vehicles and Falcon Beach Auto And Towing Dryden & NW Ontario for their ongoing support, these guys bring us multiple vehicles to cut up and haul the aftermath away when we are done which can be a challenge in itself! Attention First Responders, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has created a new F Class cutting test that best represents the Advanced High Strengt...h Steel (AHSS) alloy’s located in our vehicles today. As you can see in the picture below the types of material our rescue cutters would be tested on did not necessarily best reflect what we were facing in the field with the more large and robust body structures. At 1,020 MPA it takes serious power to fracture and break these new materials. When looking at upgrading your rescue cutters make sure they are up to the test as our S789 & S799 scores the highest rating on the new scale at F5. HURST Jaws of Life has you Rescue Ready. Thank you See more
