Sonia Gravendick is a Service Director for Air Canada and has been flying for 30 years. A talented singer herself who graced our stage years ago at Coffee, Tea or Me?, she is now the Artistic Manager for Wooly. Wooly represents a collaboration of unique musical talents brought together through a common vision. Their music and lyrics are innovative, energetic, and insightful presenting a fresh view of the human experience and evoking a range of visceral responses. Emerging f...rom diverse musical experiences and influences, members strive to present a fusion of folk, jazz, rock and alternative that is truly original. In 2017, four unique talents came together under the moniker Wooly. Their formative year was structured around the writing and production of their Debut EP. In early 2018, "Time to Grow" was born alongside an accompanying tour. It represented a labour of love, as every part of the release was planned, handcrafted and promoted by Wooly themselves. In the spirit of song, Wooly followed this release with a self-produced live series entitled "Wooly Wilderness" featuring raw renditions of their most recent creations. Singer-songwriter Tamara Maddalen is a Service Director and has been flying for 11 years. She is currently in a Union role as WCC Chair. Tamara graces the Canadian music scene with her beautifully crafted songs and clear, powerful vocals. Since 2017, she has been collaborating with producer/engineer Justin Koop (Walk Off The Earth, The Shyp, Tomi Swick, Newworldson) at Burlingtons B Town Sound to record her third upcoming full-length album. Mint Green Mercury is a nod to f...ond early memories of cruising around in the family's 1977 mercury listening to the sounds of the Deep South. This trove of adult alternative original songs is coloured with a distinct contemporary Americana sound including elements of country, roots-rock, folk and R&B, all set to the timbre of Tamaras arresting voice. Tamara released two previous solo albums (Self-Titled, 1998, and Feeling Pretty, 2000). After a hiatus from her career as an original singer-songwriter, Tamara has kindled her love of writing compelling, emotive music; motivated by her need to once again share her art with her audience. Recently produced studio videos of singles Cosmic Fail and Headlong are just a taste of what is to come as she heads into the album release nationwide on Canadian Radio. Alejandro Pinilla is a Service Director with us and is on vocals and guitar with Gardenias, a four-piece Spanish rock band based in Toronto. Gardenias it is a mix of alternative rock with South American rhythms and themes. You can find their album al Compas del Norte on iTunes and Spotify.

Teresa Riley is a Vancouver-based First Officer on the 777. She has not one but TWO stage names: T Lizzy when she performs her original alternative/rock/pop and T Riley and the Bourbon Rebels when she performs her swing/jazz band stuff. Jackeline Estrada has been with Air Canada mainline for six years as a flight attendant and is part of Royalty Dance Entertainment. Merav Richter is a multi-faceted flight attendant, a Back Galley Goddess, author, dancer, poet and very very fly-girl! This year she will be bringing back the magic of the first performance on our stage and rocking the wings dance! (How appropriate, right?) She is a proud YYZ Flight Attendant, and has been at AC since 1995! She is also proud to be presenting as one of the crew for DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT this year!

Allow us to introduce you to Ryan Northrup. Ryan has been a Flight Attendant with mainline Air Canada for 2 years. Ryan went to college for Musical Theatre Performance and has been performing since the age of 5. He loves to sing country, pop covers and some jazzy musical theatre tunes. You can catch him performing around the Brockville-Kingston-Ottawa area where he runs a drag & burlesque troupe, or find him doing karaoke in a local bar on layovers.

PLANE JANES of the PLANE JANES SCHOOL OF FLIGHT ATTENDANTRY Melanie Hunter- that's me- has been a comedy writer and performer- as well as a flight attendant- since the last millennium. Starting off with improv and sketch comedy Melanie has branched out to standup comedy and to various writing projects including the web series Tights and Fights, a blog for Chatelaine.com and humurous articles published at iVillage.ca. These days she spends less time on the stage and more time ...on her iPhone googling parenting tips while trying to keep an eye or two on her two active boys. She has performed at every Coffee, Tea or Me? since its inception in 2005.
