On Saturday, November 14th, Yourtv Cornwall televised the 12th Annual Telethon for Carefor Hospice Cornwall. The YourTV Telethon for Carefor Hospice Cornwall is the biggest fundraising event of the year for this 10-bed facility that provides end of life care in a home-like setting at no charge to the patient or family. The Hospice does receive some government funding, but Carefor is responsible for fundraising $600,000 dollars annually to support operation costs. YourTV Cor...nwall have produced all 12 of the Hospice Telethons since the facility was established back in 2009. Their target this year was $100,000 and they surpassed it with a total of $107,000 raised. A great success in these trying times!

When you study, don't be too hard on yourself! Because, you know what? Concentration has its limits and it's NORMAL! That's why you need to take several short breaks during your study sessions. There's no point in shutting yourself away for five hours and expecting to get through your tasks all at once. Instead, take a short break after each hour of work to refresh your mind. Use these moments to do some stretching (you don't always have proper posture while working), ...go outside to get some fresh air or engage in conversation with people close to you, just to take your mind off things for a bit. This brief moment will be enough to give you renewed energy before going back to work. Also have your bottle of water and small snacks (protein bar, a few almonds or pieces of cheese) on hand.
