Strathcona County RCMP investigate armed robbery Sherwood Park, Alta. On Nov. 27, 2020 at approximately 12:15 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP responded to a repo...rt of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on Sioux Road in Sherwood Park. The male suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money. The lone male store clerk was assaulted and the suspect fled on foot with cash and cigarettes. Police Dog Services was deployed, but the male was not located. The store clerk sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. The suspect is described as: - Caucasian - 5’5 (approximately) - Thin build - Wearing a black sweater with blue arms, blue mask, black pants with white strips, sunglasses and teal coloured running shoes. The Strathcona County RCMP is asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this investigation.
