Meet Lilly Lilly was one of our first alpacas. She took a liking to Bob when we were visiting a farm looking for alpacas. At least we thought she took a liking to Bob. It turns out she is the welcome committee for visitors. Always curious about new arrivals, she is one of the first to head towards visitors. Lilly is especially excited if she thinks they have treats.... She has amazing bloodlines and is dual registered in both Canada and the US. Although she looks white, in the spring after shearing you see she has a fawn saddle. Tree Time Our Christmas tree has a second purpose now that the holidays are over, it’s an alpaca treat! We’ve put the tree in with the girls for their dining pleasure. ... The boys area has a forrest behind them so they tend to snack on the trees year round. I often look out the window and see Storm, our oldest male, snacking on the trees he can reach. We checked all the trees to ensure they are not toxic to the alpacas. The girls are enjoying our Christmas leftovers, it’s their after Christmas festive treat.
