Not only are the families still fighting the RCMP to find out what went wrong in Nova Scotia that day, but law-abiding sport shooters/hunters/collectors were also used to satisfy the political agenda of the Prime Minister and Bill Blair. Recently, a constituent reached out to me because he was in limbo. He had a firearm that became prohibited overnight and suddenly had to move. He was not issued an authorization to transport it and was told by the CFO to transport his firearm... without a permit. That's right, the CFO told someone to move a prohibited firearm without a permit. I asked PM Trudeau if he would answer to all the small businesses that were being affected by this ban. No answer was provided. This is a giant mess and now thousands of law-abiding firearms owners may become paper criminals due to this Liberal-created fiasco. https://torontosun.com//dff1f47e-8d8f-4ed1-8540-53e9/amp/
Terrible news out of Manitoulin today. My thoughts are with the officers colleagues, family and loved ones.
Today my colleagues and I introduced a detailed but straightforward motion which calls upon the Trudeau Liberal government to finally take action against the Chinese Communist regime. Now is the time for our federal government to act. First, we’re demanding that the Trudeau Liberals finally make a decision on Huawei’s involvement in Canada’s 5G network within 30 days of the adoption of this motion.... Next, we’re calling upon the government to develop a comprehensive plan to combat China’s growing foreign operations here in Canada and its increasing intimidation of Canadians. Intellectual property theft, counterfeiting and digital piracy are not exceptions in our dealings with Beijing -- they’ve become reality. Finally, over recent months, Canadians of Chinese origin have been threatened by foreign agents -- here at home -- in their country. The Beijing regime continues to weaponize the very values that we Canadians hold dear: Openness, justice, and tolerance. When a dictatorship has so much influence that protecting Canadian citizens here on Canadian soil has become an issue of national concern, we know Canada has a problem. I look forward to the outcome of this debate and a supportive response for our motion from my NDP, Liberal and Green colleagues. In the meantime, please share your views on the Canada-China relationship and the Huawei issue with me here: https://www.colincarriemp.ca/huawei
Another covid test done. I’ve lost track of how many I’ve had at this point. Between now and the 7 days it will take for my test results, I’ll be exposed to more people before I am allowed to see my mum. This is why we need rapid testing ASAP. Not like only will it allow us to see our loved ones quicker, but we can also resume travel, avoid the 2 week quarantine for those who don’t need to, and get things going quicker.
A big step in the right direction which, I might add, earned the support of a handful of gutsy Liberal MPs.
Reminds me of Bill Morneau forgetting that he had to pay 40k worth of WE charity expenses
The Government now has to make a decision to ban Huawei from our 5G networks. It's finally time Mr. Trudeau and co. to stop dragging their feet on this matter.
What are your thoughts on this? On one side, a private company can do whatever it wants with its events... However, what happens when it's personal medical data they're requesting? Discuss below. https://www.google.com//ticketmaster-plans-to-check-/amp/

My colleague Pierre Poilievre brings up the issue of the Liberal government providing bailouts to failing businesses. I guess it's OK to gamble money when it is not theirs.
