Are you starting to gear down for the holiday season but feeling STRESSED? We hear you - it can sometimes be easier said than done! Here’s 5 tips to help ensure that you can put the work away and be present and stress-free over the holidays.... Block your time NOW - Ensuring that you have your back to work time allotted will help to alleviate the stress of trying to get everything done at once. PRIORITIZE the NOW - What can you get done today that will allow you to relax? Spend that extra time getting it done today so that it isn’t weighing you down while you are trying to take a break. PRIORITIZE the LATER - What can wait until you get back to work? Prioritize these tasks into the time you’ve blocked. This lets you know exactly what you have to do when you return after the holidays and makes it easier to jump right back in where you left off. Make a Side List - Keep an ongoing list of ideas, things that pop-up, and things you want to accomplish. This helps the brain to STOP thinking of it as something that NEEDS to be acted on NOW and gives you permission to LET IT GO! SET your 2021 VISION! - What 5 things do YOU want PERSONALLY, PROFESSIONALLY, and FINANCIALLY? This will help you to prioritize your focus areas and set goals to work towards! We wish you a happy, stress-free holiday season! See you all in the new year!

I am so excited to introduce you all to Amanda! When I met Amanda I instantly thought...if I could ever hire someone, she's the exact person I want to work with. Luckily she felt the same way and now she is part of CS!... Amanda has her MSc in Psychology, specializing in behavioural research. This aligns perfectly with the mission of CS, which is to provide organizational leaders with psychological based business strategies and research support. She loves details, structure and organizational processes that support corporate growth and makes things more efficient for teams and leaders. Amanda is amazing. She is intelligent, dedicated and focused on providing our clients with the best support and solutions possible. It's only been one day of working from home and I miss her already!

This is so important. Having worked with many organizations with leadership issues, it is seldom because a good leader has fallen short. It is almost always that the wrong skills were emphasized as important and the wrong characteristics were considered leadership worthy. Although this TED TALK specifies men in leadership...from what we have seen, bad leadership qualities are not gender specific!

Where have I been? Well, today I finished a contract where I spent the last four months with amazing humans during an absolutely crazy time. I learned more than I thought possible, had huge ups and downs, was at times emotionally exhausted and discovered I’d miss these people, who four months ago were strangers, more than I thought possible. I was given an opportunity to be enlightened and challenged and my life is forever changed. The work was draining but so rewarding, and... I am beyond proud of the team I had with me that completed the job with integrity, humility, dedication and heart. I’ll continue to process this experience for months to come...until then I will cherish these flowers and the people that gave them to me.
