Going into this weekend with some big plans to organize everything that is out of place right now... it seems like everything is. I’m feeling very scattered these days- time to take a breath. How’re you spending the weekend??? #breathe

This week has flown by and I only have a few doodles to show for it! My dad was released from the hospital so that has taken priority over the fun and games for now... next week will be a doozie too - a couple new projects coming my way... #herestohangingon

I mentioned in a few previous posts that I am focusing my creativity on play this year and learning a couple of new things... one of them is surface pattern design and I can’t be more excited to dive in. It combines my love of drawing and doodling on paper with the joy ( for me) of computer programs such as photoshop and illustrator. A perfect combination and so many possibilities. And finally, to see your artwork on a tangible item ( my dream would be paper products of any sort) would be the most satisfying goal. Stay tuned for much more play in the months to come. #surfacepatterndesign

A painting on unstretched canvas all rolled up and lovingly placed in a mailing tube. I always feel a huge amount of gratitude when someone buys a piece of my art, especially when they haven’t seen it in person.... I am honoured by their trust and thankful for the opportunity to brighten someone’s space.
