Up for sale is the 1979-80 Topps hockey set featuring #18 Wayne Gretzky RC. The 264 card set averages exmt++ nrmt condition with Gretzky's RC in exmt condition. Very nice set indeed. The first of the hockey premiums offered by York in the early 1960s were black & white 5" by 7" photos of the Canadiens and Maple Leafs, with labels from York peanut butter and salted nuts required to be mailed-in to obtain the pictures. A complete set of 19 Canadiens here is, for the most part, in beauty crease-free condition, with light corner touches prompting EX+ + NRMT grades. A small corner crease in Doug Harvey's photo, a light bend in Gilles Tremblay's and a bit of soiling to the Charlie Hodge are the only other flaws spotted. Featuring the likes of Hall-of-Famers Plante, Beliveau, Geoffrion, Richard, Moore and Johnson, this is a clean, bound-to-please set. Go Habs Go! Rare in this condition. Up for Sale is a 1965-66 Coca-Cola un-perforated complete set in nrmt+ condition. The set contains 108 black and white cards featuring 18 players from each of the original six NHL Teams. 6 ordering cards for Album also attached to each panel. The cards were issued in perforated team panels of 18 cards. Album could be purchased separately. The value of the un-perforated strips like this one is 20-30% more than the sum of the individual cards.The cards have bilingual write ups ...on the back. The strips also include request cards for Album.
