Today is an exciting day! The Colleen Findlay Foundation, and our Hands to Serve Project, was given a shout out in the Maple Ridge News - just in time for the start of the 2016 Hands to Serve Project. For a second year we are asking local businesses, churches, and YOU to nominate an outstanding single parent, elderly couple, widow, or anyone that you think could use a special gift. We cannot thank everyone enough for braving the weather and coming out to our first ever Christmas Fair this last weekend. With your help we raised over $1000 for Alisa's Wish, which will all go towards helping our community's hurt children.

A lot of planning, baking, and shopping today for our Christmas Fair this Saturday. All the fun starts tomorrow when our vendors arrive for set up!

Forever thankful for Sandra at Westgate Flower Garden and her generosity. She will be hosting a Christmas Centrepiece Worshop at our Christmas Fair on December 12. All proceeds from this workshop will be going towards Alisa's Wish Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. Make sure you register before all the spots are gone!

We're already in the Christmas mood around here. Counting down the days until our first Christmas fair!

EXCITING NEWS! We have officially selected our first Hands to Serve recipient! She is an amazing single mom who has inspired us by only the short paragraph we read about her. Huge thanks to the Ridge Meadows Child Development for nominating her and giving us the chance to serve this family.

Well, my friends, aside from being very excited for gingerbread latte's, the Foundation has another reason... The 2015 Christmas Gift & Craft Fair! ... Come join us to celebrate the festive season and enjoy some good wholesome family fun. We are currently looking for vendors so if you or someone you know is crafty and creative please send us a message!
