Hey there! I’m Sarah Robbins. I am the woman behind the numpfer brand. Fun fact, numpfer was actually my childhood nickname given to me by my granny while I wa...s still in utero. They didn’t find out the sex of the baby (me) so a gender neutral nickname fit. Hence the gender neutral baby company named numpfer. I created this company from a bib. A multi use bib that I made for my bottle fed newborn. She was born at BC Womens Hospital and had a brief stay in the NICU. The nurses always used washcloths as bibs, which was brilliant but they didn’t reach all the way around the neck to absorb everything. Once I was home I ordered the softest organic terry cloth I could find and created the original numpfer shape. I knew I wanted it to be a bib that soaked up everything a newborn threw at it but also something that could do so much more. Washcloth, burp cloth, bib and everything else in between. All of our products are made in Vancouver, I fold each one, package it all and ship every single order that comes in. I also believe in giving back to the community, we have raised $150k through @sipandsavouryvr to buy tangible equipment for the BC Womens NICU (as my way of saying thank you for saving my first born baby girl) as well as give out free Black Lives Matter stickers to anyone who wants one. If you need anything at all or have any questions, I’m the one to respond. Thank you so much for all you orders, your love and supporting our small business throughout the years. I appreciate you so much! -Sarah See more
