Happy to post the homes resident and staff vaccination statistics from the Simcoe County Health Unit. Given the concerns regarding covid-19 and the variant strain now in Simcoe County, we are very fortunate to have whatever protection offered, having received the vaccine. These two graphs received January 25, 2021.

Vaccine update for our home On behalf of Collingwood Nursing Home, I am thrilled to announce that our residents are being vaccinated to protect against covid-19 TODAY! I cannot express how great this is for us all! I wish to also acknowledge how supportive all of our staff have been, 11 + months of non stop effort. Hello to All! Our home would like to thank the following for their generous donation and considerations: Lorie Ferguson for a Vision Enhancement Machine. This is used to help a resident read books and magazines by magnifying the print.... Pretty River Academy Students. There is a small group of foreign students who could not leave at the end of their school year. So during this time they fund raised some cash and purchased a large box of Surgical masks for the home.

Collingwood Nursing Home Staff and Management would like to thank The First Baptist Church of Stayner. Every staff member received a bundle of sweet treats! Also, Samantha, the daughter of a staff member, volunteered to fix up the homes front planter box. It was left in sad shape until she offered to dedicate her time and planted perennials. Even more surprising was that Samantha had applied for a grant which was successful in covering the expenses to purchase the plants. Thank You!
