Food is essential. Food is what gives us strength and nourishes our bodies both physically and emotionally. Is it a common thread that ties us all together. The market plays an important role in Collingwood by building a sense of community in the downtown. But community doesnt just come together on its own, it takes a lot of work. The market continues year after year because it is driven by community based participation. As you make your way down to the corner of Second an...d Pine tomorrow morning consider also taking a stroll through the downtown. The market could not thrive without the support of local businesses in the heart of Collingwood. The downtown has truly everything you need. Remember to buy local when possible. Become a part of your own community.
