Ruth (Ruthy) Gudaitis was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) on January 30, 2019. CJD is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease. Currently, no cure or treatments to slow the disease exists. We are all at a loss for words. Much too soon and too fast. Ruth has loved and cherished us all and has tirelessly devoted herself to her family and her community. To honour Ruth’s work with children and the arts, a music education scholarship fund in her name the Ruth Lee Guda...itis Music Scholarship has been set up within the South Georgian Bay Music Foundation. In lieu of meals or flowers, Ruthy and her family ask that any outpouring of loving support is made to the scholarship fund. It may be Wednesday night as I post this but - Happy Thursday! Here’s a tune that’s certain to get your motor running - a cover of You’re So Square by London, ...Ont. band Uranus. Tonight was our final show with Chuck Jackson, Tyler Yarema, and Pat Carey who helped us rock tonight at the Harbour Street Fish Bar! Yes, it was at our rain venue, but all of you who ventured out, packed inside the Fish Bar and on the patio, making the most of it!! For those of you who could not come to The Fish Bar we thank you for all the times you were at The Station!! TOO, THANK YOU ALL for your generous donations all summer long in support of Keeping Music Alive in Schools!! We are very pleased to be donating the moneys to the music departments of the 4 area high schools come September. May you all have a wonderful Fall and Winter! We will be in touch to let you know about any upcoming concerts :)

The ground is soggy at the Station so Chuck Jackson & friends will be at The Harbour Street Fish Bar. The doors to the Patio and Patio will be open and beer and wine served outside. Come on over for an entertaining evening!! :)
