Dear members of the Collingwood United Soccer Club (CUSC). Thank you for your continued patience over the past months as we navigate through these challenging times. Over this time, the CUSC has been busy planning for the upcoming season in hopes that a return to play would be in the near future. While the Province has started the process to allow our community to open up, and Ontario Soccer has just released a Return to Play Guide to help manage our actions as a club and o...n the field , (found on our website) ,we as an organization do not feel that a safe return to play will be possible in time to have a meaningful season. In this regard, the CUSC has made the decision to cancel all soccer programming for the 2020 season (house league, development and travel programs; youth and adult). Over the past weeks, we have considered various options to sustain programming, but as time passes, these have become less and less likely in a manner that can ensure the health and safety of our players, our volunteers, our parents and our community. Anyone that has registered will be refunded in full. We ask that you be patient as we process all the refunds through SportsEngine. If you have any questions or concerns please email [email protected]. Should the opportunity arise to offer some sort of soccer program prior to the end of the summer (assuming we have returned to pre-pandemic conditions and soccer can be played without restriction), CUSC will evaluate options and advise our membership accordingly.
