In light of recent and ongoing developments Colony Skateshop and School will be temporarily closed in solidarity with our local and global communities. All lessons and special events will be suspended until we are confident returning to business as usual is the best course of action. Hello folks! Colony Skateboard Shop and School is proud to be offering our first Spring Break Skateboard camp. We will be offering 8 spaces only. With Randy, a RCDSB teacher and skater, his wife Toni, a former ECE and an Algonquin student volunteer facilitating, your children are sure to have a blast! March break camp runs from Monday, the 16th to Friday, March 20th. ... The cost is $65/day or $300.00 for the week. 9:00am - 4:30pm. Ages 8 to 13. We have a loose schedule laid out and will iron out the details based on the weather, and children’s interests. 9:00am -Arrival. Hang jackets, put on on indoor shoes, refrigerate lunches. 9:15- 10:00 -We will begin our days with some stretching/yoga, followed by skateboard lessons. 10:00 - 10:15 -Snack. 10:30 -Head outside. Every day we will walk either to Kinsmen outdoor skating rink, the public library, or go sliding at Pansy Patch Park. We will plan and prepare as much as possible. 12:30/1pm -Please send your child with a packed lunch. We will try to eat during our outing if possible. 1:30/2:00 -Return to the shop for games and/or crafts and a little time to chill. 2:30 -Snack. 2:45 - 4:30 -The afternoon will finish will skate lessons and open skate until pick-up. We will send a finely tuned itinerary once we are able to confirm numbers and ages. Please respond ASAP in order for us to provide the most radical of all programming for the most awesome kids in town! *We are offering 20% off on a monthly membership for participants.

RCDSB Elementary strike days are Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Send your kid to skate for the afternoon. $20 to skate from 1pm - 4pm. Lessons only available after 3:30pm. *Must have a waiver signed. We have helmets, pads and decks if needed. #supportourteachers #cutshurtkids
