After coming to Columbus Residence three years agoJoseph discovered he has a talent for drawing! Joseph, who lives with Parkinson’s, credits our Recreation Therapy Program for helping him develop his artistic ability! He draws every day and loves to share his talent to bring joy to others! This message reflects our commitment to providing the highest standard of care in a warm, loving and homelike environment. Music therapy has the ability to link and connect different generations and cultures in a way that supports the development of relationships and promotes general health. In addition, music stimulates memory recall and facilitates relaxation that can promote sleep and decrease anxiety.
