The winners of the $1000 are below! Thanks for everyone who participated! The first prize is $500.00 to the Food Bank The second is $250.00 to The Madawaska Valley Library to go towards their "Knights in the Classroom" event And third prize is $250 to the Barry's Bay and Area Seniors Home support

Our last class will be next week. Stay tuned for sign ups at the end of August for the September- December session. We will have testing done in the fall so keep practicing your moves over the summer! There will be some treats at this last class and fun games!

Write a creative paragraph about why we should donate funds to your favorite local, non-profit organization (Combermere, Barrys Bay, Wilno and Killaloe!). Contest ends May 30th. The students and volunteer instructors of the club will help us decide... get writing!!! Send entries to [email protected]

The Karate club has decided to offer t-shirts ( not the same design as shown) to the students. Please let us know if you would like one and the size so we can order them. The price will be $10 each.

Classes will be cancelled for the March Break as students and instructors will be out of Town. Enjoy the family time!

Bob will be coming next week so class will be longer for the higher belts. Everyone should be practicing all their moves. If you need some help - Sempi John has some video on this site to show you!
