We are sure that our fellow Northern Hemisphere friends are sick and tired of Winter at this point! Did you know that Saturday was "Hoodie-Hoo Day" for those of us North of the Equator? On this Winter Day, people go outdoors at noon, wave their hands over their heads and yell "HOODIE-HOO!!" Here is our board member Jenn doing just that with some of the kiddos she teaches! Well, after winning London’s Design Museum’s Beazley Designs of the Year award for best design of 2020, one of the creators of the installation is ready to continue uniting communities with art. "Now, Rael is unveiling his follow-up project, Pedacito de la Tierra (A Little Piece of Home), which looks to bring a sense of community to shelters south of Mexican border by building hor...nos, traditional clay ovens, where migrants can come together to share a meal.
