When to hire an external investigator? Does your organization experience theft, harassment or misconduct? While HR departments often deal with these internal matters, some situations benefit from an unbiased, third-party professional. Risk & Resilience Advisor Stephen Grant shares how an experienced investigator provides impartiality reduces loss and keeps you focused on what you do best. c/o Commissionaires Canada https://bit.ly/3p6rzHB #beacommissionaire #joincviy #securityprofessionals #theft #harassmnet #misconduct #internalmatters #unbiased #risk #resilience #investigators #reduceloss #stayfocused #professional #thirdparty

Remembrance Moments: Canadian Armed Forces members have served in a wide variety of United Nations peace support efforts over the years. Indeed, our country played a central role in the establishment of the concept of international peacekeeping. These missions often have positive effects but the strife, conflict and death that peacekeepers often witness can make it very challenging duty. https://bit.ly/2U0jQxt #remembranceday2020 #lestweforget2020 #beacommissionaire #joincviy

March 2, 1956: "On top of the heap, it might be said, is Arthur Tongue, commissionaire guarding the $64,000 - there it is, in neat bundles - which Macdonald's Furniture Ltd. is using as an advertising stunt in its current sale. The little mountain of $5 bills is displayed in the store window daily, under commissionaire guard. "You can have anything in the store," said proprietor Lew Macdonald, "but hands off the currency." - (Colonist photo by Jim Ryan)" #TBT #beacommissionaire #joincviy #thesecurityprofessionals Commissionaires Viy

Remembrance Moments: Canada Remembers the Dieppe Raid | Veterans Affairs: The Dieppe Raid was the first time that Canadian soldiers saw major action in Europe during the Second World War. Almost 5,000 Canadians took part in the operation that saw our men come ashore along the coast of occupied France in the area of Dieppe on August 19, 1942. Sadly, the operation would prove to be disastrous, and 916 Canadians would lose their lives in the fighting that day. https://bit.ly/355jJai #lestweforget2020 #remembranceday2020
