Rolled into @torontohotrodkulture meet a little late after a late night with this ole thang. @thatoldsfastback ‘50 Oldmobile is finished up and on the streets. Spent a few late nights paneling in the rear floor and trunk sections, followed by @steelitcoatings and @por15inc. Final assembly and a little shake down run last night before truckin it back home. Another bagged car coming together for the summer. A few finishing touches on this beauty 1973 Mercedes 220D and its back to @pmwrp81 for some summer cruising. We made some custom brackets and modified the lower control arms to mount 4 @slam_specialties bags, backed with @air_lift_performance 3P management and 2 @viaircorp 444c compressors. We also relocated the rear struts, made new mounts and installed some @qa1motorsports struts. It’s a bittersweet end to @motoramashow this year. I’m happy to have been a small part of this awesome show for the second year in a row. I pushed myself and my friends to get this car show ready and somehow we were able to pull it off considering it was just a chassis 6 days ago. Although the attendance was low the feedback we got was great and I can’t wait to finish this car and get some miles on it before giving it back to @thatoldsfastback. Another fun project through the doors. @scotcee has been after me to stiffen up his ‘67 fairlane for a while now. I finally got it in and built these subframe connectors to stiffen that unibody. I poked the connectors up through the floor in preparation for future stiffening inside.
