IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Good morning. We are continuing to work on reopening and look forward to being with all of you.... One of the requirements to attend any EarlyON program will be to pre-register for programs and services. Please visit the KeyON site below to register or update your profile. www.keyon.ca You will soon be able to select dates and times to visit a program through KeyON by selecting options that will be made available on the calendar. Please note that we are not opening for in person visits to the centre just yet. We will resume virtual programming next week as well as planning for some outdoor programs once we receive the guidelines from the Health Unit and the DSSAB. ALL children and adults must be registered with KeyON and sign up in advance to attend. "Families who have not signed up to attend a program or receive services ahead of time cannot enter an EarlyON Centre or participate in programs and/or services on a drop in basis." (Taken from the Ministry of Education Operational Guidance During COVID-19 Outbreak EarlyON Re-opening document) Feel free to contact us through our facebook page if you have any questions.

Tbaytel for Good: Lakehead Public Schools receives donation of school supplies to help students in need. As we prepare for a return to school unlike anything we...'ve seen before, some students may find the transition back to learning a little easier thanks to a generous donation by Tbaytel's Marketing and Communications department. 50 bags of school supplies were dropped off at the Lakehead Public Schools board office today as Tbaytel employees took part in their annual Good Employees program. Inside each bag, students will find all of the supplies they need for a successful return to learning. Items include pencil crayons, pencil sharpeners, notebooks, glue sticks, pencil cases, hand sanitizer, and even a locally made cloth facemask from The Whole Nine Yards. "We're extremely grateful to have such amazing community partners looking out for our students," said AJ Keene, Superintendent of Education, "a donation like this really levels the playing field for those students and families who may not have the resources to go out and purchase these items themselves." Tbaytel's Good Employees Program, which is part of their larger Tbaytel for Good initiative, encourages teams within Tbaytel to search out grassroots organizations and groups in the community who are already doing good work. The goal is to engage Tbaytel employees and provide opportunities to give back in meaningful ways. #LPStbay #Lakeheadschools #Tbay

Respect A way to honor creation is by showing respect. There should be no part of creation that should be excluded from the honour that we are to give. We demon...strate respect by realizing the value of all people and things, and by showing courteous consideration and appreciation. We must give respect if we wish to be respected. We honor the traditional roles that we fill and the teaching we have been given. We honor our families and others, as well as ourselves. We are not to bring harm to anyone or anything. Respect is not just an action, but a heart-grown feeling. See more
