Finally getting the chance to post photos from hiking Lake O'Hara and the Alpine Circuit. Such a stunner and super diverse. The rain held off until the last kilometer of our day, thankfully!

We heard there was a scavenger hunt by Mt. Engadine Lodge, Kananaskis-bound -- got out of dodge. Up the mountain we went in search of a clue, there sat a twinkling snowman taking in the view! 'Round the trail to the the rock stack we climbed,... there sat the High Rockies fairy -- what a find! She sent us in search of a wildlife camera, the 24 inches of snow sure tested our stamina. Following the trail to the trolls by the stream, pitstop for goldfish for the half frozen team. At Rummel Lake the token was long gone, but the fairies' spirits weren't dashed despite going since dawn.
