Best day ever!!! Yesterday was our grand reopening and it was a big day at Community Care’s Thrift Shop. In fact, it was the best day ever from a financial standpoint. We really have to thank all concerned: our incredible volunteers, the donors who made it possible, and the customers who flocked into the store to buy! Thank you to everybody. We’re taking appointments for people to donate their good used items to the Thrift Shop. Handling the volume of goods being give...n to us has become pretty tricky and we’re doing the very best we can. That’s why we can only take donations from those who have made an appointment. Then our volunteers have a steady flow of new used things to sort, price and put out on the floor to sell. When you call us at 613-476-1555 you might have to wait a few weeks for an appointment. We’re all doing the best we can to keep up and we ask for you to be patient. In the meantime, if you’d like to become a volunteer at the Thrift Shop please call the office at 613-476-7493!
