In December, we had a chance to work with Mrs Lambert's Grade 3/4 Class at New Prospect School on a Winter Tourism project. Over the next few weeks, we will be posting student's write-ups, photos and dioramas of their favourite winter activity. Today, Alex would like to let you know about snowmobiling. Alex, tell us a little bit about snowmobiling here in Dryden. "Head outside in Dryden and try snowmobiling. It's a way to get out of your house when you need it. When you go ...snowmobiling you might see some of the beautiful animals in Dryden like wolves, deer and maybe lynx. You can have fun driving snowmobiles on the ice if the ice is frozen and not dangerous. It is fun to drive fast all around the lake. You can snowmobile on Wabigoon Lake and you can drive on the Northwestern Ontario snowmobiling trails if you buy a pass. Hopefully we will see you all out on the Northwestern Ontario Snowmobiling trails getting some fresh air and enjoying being outside." Ontario's Sunset Country

That’s a wrap on Live Here Like You Mean It’s 2020 Dryden Gift Guide, we hope you found a few good ideas and will continue to support local businesses during th...e holiday season and all year long. We appreciate all the shares and tags to support our initiatives. We would also like to recognize the messages we have received from business, local artists and others about those that were not featured. As much as we tried to be as inclusive as possible we may have missed the mark in some areas. Being that this was our first gift guide. We can only try to be better, please drop a comment below with your business/artwork and we would be happy to connect for next years gift guide. The biggest shout out is for Melany Groves, thank you for taking our vision and turning it into a reality! Thank you! Here is a recap of the guide to peruse and as the old CKDR jingle goes we think... you can find it all in Dryden!
