Soon, many team members joined in including fellow Navigator Kim, Wellness Facilitators Jacklynn, Jenn, Julie, Korede, and Stephanie. The Press Challenge consists of 25 days where you do 25 daily push-ups and invite someone to join in. As you continue on, you may post videos or photos on your progress and help raise awareness for me...ntal health. In true Community Health Team style, they encouraged and rooted for each other, while supporting teammates with the type of push-up they could safely do. A few had never done push-ups, some hadnt done them for years, and others had their routine down to a science. Push-ups were done from counter-tops, chairs, walls, knees, and toes; in living rooms, hiking trails, and garages; fast and slow; with pets and kids. The slogan All push-ups are REAL push-ups rang through their newsfeeds. Information about mental illness, mental wellness, self-compassion, the benefits of physical activity and where to seek help was shared.
