Cooking is a great activity for the whole family to take part in, but it is also one that requires multiple essential skills, particularly reading, math, and document use. According to Scholastic's Family Reading Report, Parents’ reading habits play a large role in determining how often kids read: 57% of kids who are frequent readers have parents who read books 57 days per week, compared to only 15% of kids who are infrequent readers. Labour Day represents Canada’s version of a labour movement in which workers fought for their rights through strike action. It was during this time that trade unions became legalized in Canada. ...
