In the spirit of sharing positive stories during this challenging time, we have another wonderful employment journey to share. Meet Rick, he is a Tim Horton's Employee and would like to share his job story with you all. "My Name is Rick Sankey and this is my job story. I have been working at the Westshore Parkway Tim Horton’s for 6 plus years and I love everything about working there! Some of my duties at Tim Hortons are washing the tables, making muffins and making doughnu...ts. I also have to sweep the floor. My favorite thing to do at work is washing the tables, this gives me the chance to talk to some of the customers. I have a great team at work who help me when I need it. Some of my coworkers are Lotus, Erwin, Ellen, and Owen. Right now, I also have another part-time job at The Cascadia Liquor store in Langford, I have been working there for about a year. At Cascadia I bag ice and repack cases of beer into 6 packs. I have been working since I was 19, so I have had lots of different jobs around Victoria. Before my job at Tim Horton’s I also worked at White Spot, The Buns Master Bakery, Le Collina Bakery and A&W. I was also a member of the Car Washing team at the Saanich Police Department. My favorite thing about having a job is seeing all my job coaches because I like them a lot. I really like working because I love to work in the community and meet new people " See more
