To make hot chocolate bombs, you'll need hot chocolate, marshmallows, chocolate chips or other meltable chocolate, a pastry brush, and small silicone molds (2 molds per bomb), plus a pot with hot water and a flat metal pan. 1. Melt chocolate using double boiler or microwave. 2. Temper the hot melted chocolate by adding solid chocolate and stirring it in. 3. Use pastry brush to push melted chocolate into the bottom, sides, and corners of the molds, and chill to harden. 4. Brus...h more melted chocolate onto the sides of the molds to thicken the top edges, and chill to harden. 5. Carefully pop shells out of the molds. Pro tip: Make extras in case some break. 6. Assemble by (a) levelling the top edge of a shell using the pot/pan combo, (b) filling it with 2+ Tbsp hot chocolate mix and marshmallows, (c) levelling/melting another shell's edge and gently sealing to the filled shell, and (d) using hot melted chocolate to seal any gaps between the two shells. 7. Refrigerate 15 min & enjoy! See more
