Since we’re unable to host our usual community support events this spring, we’re looking back at some of our favourite community stories from years past! For this week’s #CommunityThrowback we’re celebrating our friends at VCA Canada Allwest Animal Hospital who raised and delivered a donation of dog and cat food to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre! Last year the Saskatoon Food Bank provided over 85,000 food baskets to almost 250,000 in-need Canadians.

VCA Canada family members Green Acres Animal Hospital led a community wide initiative to collect donations for the Lethbridge food bank. Together with clients and other veterinary clinics in the area, the Green Acres team raised a ‘mountain’ of food for those in-need in their community. Nice work Green Acres! #VCAFamily

VCA Canada is proud to announce our Giving Tuesday partnership with Humane Canada was a huge success! With our pledge and donations from across the country, we helped raise over $22,000 towards continuing Humane Canada’s advocacy and public awareness work to end puppy mills in Canada.
