The museum is open Dec 29, 30 & 31st from 10am to 4pm. The Heritage Air Park is closed to the public. Christmas lights can be viewed from outside the gate from dusk until 9pm up to and including December 31st.
We can never say thank you enough to our volunteers. They are the heartbeat of this museum. As we prepare to head off and enjoy the festivities with our loved ones we send a special thought of gratitude to our museum family.
We wish you all the best of the season!
Come see our large selection of used books for sale. Holiday sale: select titles only $2!
Happy holidays to you and yours! Please note we will be closed December 24, 25, 26, January 1st and all Mondays. All other days we are open our regular hours of 10am to 4pm.
Don't forget to come by the Heritage Air Park tonight between 6pm and 8pm. We will be in the gravel lot across from the park collecting cash/cheque and non-perishable food donations for the Comox Valley Food Bank
We have stocking stuffers for your RCAF fan!
CC-115 Buffalo 457 arrived at the Heritage Air Park the other day. This donation helps to preserve the RCAF’s, and Canada’s, rich aviation history. The Buffalo fleet remains in operation with the RCAF, supporting search and rescue missions throughout the Pacific region as the RCAF crews continue training on the newly arrived CC-295 Kingfisher which will eventually replace the CC-115.
We will remember them.
To the Stars, Issue 2 ready for your enjoyment! Happy holidays!
We wind up our Remembrance week video series with our long serving volunteer Gary Wiffen. Please take a a moment at 11am on November 11 to remember and be thankful to all those who served and to all those who continue to serve. Lest We Forget.
