This is a polite request for all patrons of our course, to please not practice on the course. Aaron and his crew work so hard to keep our course in wonderful shape, and playable year round. There have been individuals taking lots of shots and not replacing divots, it's not fair to our ground staff or other players on the course. It's the rainy, wet season and Aaron's job is tough enough. We have a driving range for practicing. Thank you, and enjoy our beautiful course!

Happy Halloween everyone! The CGC pro shop is preparing for the upcoming winter golf season. Early indications show that we are going to have a busier than normal... tee sheet this winter. With that in mind, some news updates/reminders to help us deal with the challenges Mother Nature will be throwing at us. Please remember to change your clocks back 1 hour tonight. Pro Shop hours will be 0900am - 0430pm November 2020 through February 2021. The tee time booking procedure will remain the same over the winter months so members get preferential 4 day booking privileges. Frost delays are always difficult to predict and we ask that you access the CGC website for the most up-to-date frost delay and other golf course information which will be updated regularly under normal operating conditions. This winter the Comox Golf Club will have 4 power carts in our rental fleet for rent over the winter months. Our 9-hole rental rate of $10.00 per seat is very attractive and can be booked when you book your tee times. All carts are 90 degrees today and Aaron will advise us when he feels it is necessary to go to 'cart path only' to help protect our golf course. Our Annual 'Black Friday' punch card sale will be a 3 day event this year and we expect long lineups again this year on November 27-28-29, 2020. November is always a busy time for the pro shop processing membership renewals for members who take advantage of the 'early bird' discount and 2 - 18 hole green fee coupons that are offered to members renewing prior to December 01, 2020. If you want to avoid lineups with the expected busier tee sheet and 3 day Black Friday sale, you might want to consider visiting the pro shop in the afternoons. With COVID cases continuing to ramp up, we are somewhat isolated on the island but we remain diligent in trying to eliminate touch points in order to protect our members, guests and staff. With the colder temperatures we are unable to keep the doors open as in the summer so we are trying temporary makeshift means of opening doors. We ask that you please put your arm through the makeshift hoops provided without touching them with your hands and we thank you for your understanding and support as we do what we can to get us through these months. To assist us in eliminating touch points, the pro shop staff has been asking members and guests to use credit cards in lieu of cash when processing transactions and we very much appreciate your support in this endeavour. Our pro shop staff Dorothy, Lorrie, Kevin and Tom look forward to assisting you during the coming winter golf season at Comox Golf Club. Enjoy, Tom Lambourne Comox Pro Shop
