Greetings CVAA Basketball Fans! We are happy to announce that CVAA GO Wednesday Basketball and Friday Night Girls Only programs are ready to start at the Cumberland Rec Center! Here are the details:... WEDNESDAY GO BASKETBALL ** we have switched the day of the week to Wednesday due to lack of gym availability (please let me know if this doesn't work for you) **session times K-Gr 3 5 to 6 pm Gr 4-7 girls 6 to 7 pm Gr 8-11 girls 7 to 8 pm ** Wednesday Basketball program registration/info link: https://docs.google.com//1j5724fu1281R8HHyScgnR2PVNu/edit FRIDAY NIGHT LEAGUE GO BASKETBALL **, Due to lack of gym availability, we have switched times for Friday Night League (please let me know if this doesn't work for you: may need to run 330 to 415 pm and 415 pm to 5 pm ) Gr 4-7 girls 315 to 410 pm Gr 8-11 girls 410 to 5 pm ** Friday Basketball program registration/info link: https://docs.google.com//1Mw504hRPZvhLZH06yUPtswwyA-/edit ** if this time works for you, please fill out and send back the two waivers (Basketball BC and Waypoint insurance waivers) ASAP as these waivers are needed to rent the facility **please have player show up dressed with mask on and ready to play 5 minutes before the session and enter the facility following the entrance signs **bring your own alcohol wiped basketball or one will be provided for you **no spectators allowed but looking for 1-2 adult coaches to help with sessions **hand cleaning stations will be provided **the players will exit the facility through exit doors at 6 pm - be prepared to pickup at this time **please see Basketball BC Return to Sport Plan Phase 3 for more information on the COVID guidelines being used for CVAA Basketball sessions **coaches need for the Gr 4- 7 girls and K- gr 3 coed programs Thanks for your support of basketball in the Comox Valley! Greetings CVAA Basketball Fans! Update Jan 24 2021 CVAA will resume its K-Gr3 COED, Gr 4-7 Girls and Grade 8-10 Girls programs as soon as Comox Valley gym rentals become available. Please register by following the Monday and Friday registration links on the CVAA website (www.cvathletics.ca). Registrants will be contacted and payment can be made when session scheduling is confirmed.... We are looking forward to seeing smiling players with a basketball in their hands once again!
