............................COMOX VALLEY FOOD BANK SOCIETY ........................ .............................................HUNGER COUNT 2021 ............................................ INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS OF THE FOOD BANK... Hunger Count takes place from March 1st March 31st, 2021. It may take clients a few minutes more to check in at the Food Bank, because we will be requesting verification of information for each client. To expedite this process, we ask that each client bring the following information with them when they come to the Food Bank in March: Picture ID for yourself and spouse, if applicable (if you do not have picture ID and you are receiving social assistance or disability payments, you can go to their office and get a copy of your ID date stamped from their office) Birth certificates or care cards for each child, if applicable Proof of Courtenay address, if your ID does not have your current address (this could be a rental agreement, income tax return, a bill showing address, or ICBC paperwork showing current address) If you cannot provide picture ID for a spouse, or birth certificates or care cards for children, they may be taken off your file. Clients will be asked to answer a few questions for the Hunger Count Survey, and then they can start collecting their food items. We ask that clients be patient during the month of March when we are conducting Hunger Count. Thank you.
