Burning incense has many benefits and it is a perfect way to blend spiritual practice into your daily life. Light incense to clear your space, mentally lift your spirit or just to create a serene moment in time. It is the moments we create for ourselves that are the most sacred. #incense #spiritual #spirituality #spiritualjourney #spiritualawakening #spiritualgrowth #spiritualhealing #spiritualpractice #life #lifeisgood #lifeisbeautiful #clear #uplift #uplifting #spirit #create #createeveryday #createyourlife #creation #creations #createyourreality #serene #serenity #serene #moment #moments #sacred #sacredspace

Today I’m choosing to add some brilliant colour to a homemade soup I am making for my Mother. Root vegetables are so heathy to begin with and even better when they are colourful like these tri coloured carrots mixed with the red potatoes, celery, onions and seasoning. Bringing more colour into your foods also helps to lift your spirit, mind and energy. The soup is stress free to make and so healthy, let me know if you would like the recipe. Enjoy this beautiful sunny day.... #simplybeautiful #22daysofchoice

There has been a lot of intense energy leading up to the solar eclipse that happened yesterday and it does affect highly sensitive people. I have a few days to catch up on because to me choosing to focus on self care is so important. When my body, mind or spirit is feeling depleted, tired or overwhelmed I stop everything including social media to care for what needs attention until I can bring my energy back into alignment. I started a few days ago by waking to the mailbox ...and witnessing one of my fondest childhood memories...stepping on glass ice (that’s what I called it) it brought a smile to my face to see it, admire its beauty, then tap on it with my foot to hear that satisfying crackle. It was a simple but effective way to bring joy to my heart. #solareclipse #sensitive #sensitivepeople #energy #selfcare #mind #body #spirit #alignment #childhoodmemories #beauty #joy #heart #22daysofchoice

Today I am choosing to feed the solar plexus, sacral and root chakras, these are focused on personal power, creativity and grounding. This is a simple rye bread toasted with what they call twinkle tomatoes (so cute) it’s a perfect healthy way to start the day. I also made some protein bites which I find are way too expensive to buy all the time so this is a simple recipe which is just peanut butter, honey, rolled oats and choice of nuts, seeds fruit. There are substitutes ...for every ingredient depending on your preference. This was easy and took minutes to put together, the longest part was waiting for it to set in the fridge for a half hour. Let me know if you would like the recipe. Staying healthy is an important part of staying positive so be mindful that what you put in your body your feeding your mind. #chakras #personalpower #creativity #grounding #wholesome #healthy #healthyfood #healthylifestyle #staypositive #mindfulness #22daysofchoice

Even during the most trying days I choose to be positive and accept what is happening. We cannot control anyone or any situation, we can only choose how we react which is to accept it. There is a lot of emotion and anger everywhere right now, some makes no sense and is directed at anyone for no reason. It’s hard to accept these things but if you try to see the pain that is behind the action instead of reacting to it, it’s much easier to accept and move on from it. The peop...le that engage in the anger and perpetuate it are keeping that static low energy charged and alive. When I experience the anger that is out there right now I don’t try to understand it I just feel grateful for what I have in my life and that I am not experiencing that kind of pain. I always try to outweigh difficult times by focusing on the simple things, carving out time to just see what is around me, yesterday it was this beautiful birch tree in my front yard. It has weathered countless days, some stormy, some cold and hot but on that day it was just catching the last of the sun on its bark and I was so grateful to see it. Take at least one moment to witness something beautiful, something that makes you smile even if it’s just a fond memory and let that be what you take away from the day. #nature #acceptance #gratitude #choose #smile #memories #22daysofchoice
