Hello everyone! A few updates to share. Tenzin, the little girl who injured her head and was evacuated to Kathmandu, IS OKAY! Sachin recognized that she could potentially lose her vision and called for a rescue to a hospital in Kathmandu. We are extremely grateful Sachin was able to care for her and identify the need for specialized care, and to MountainChild for the helicopter rescue! Yesterday our Health Worker Sachin cared for a 4-year-old girl named Tenzin. She had fallen on the ice and injured her head and eye. Sachin treated her and discovered whitish hairlines in her eye that could potentially lead to a loss of eyesight. The Compassion Project works with a non-profit helicopter rescue organization called MountainChild. Together, we organized a helicopter rescue so Tenzin can get specialized care in Kathmandu.
