A major animal food producer in Southern Ontario recently lost their refrigerated air dryer condenser unit due to age and wear & tear, which left the dryer down and production equipment vulnerable to water contamination from untreated air. With the age and unreliability of other older components it made economic sense for the client to replace the entire dryer unit. CSI were called to site to look at pricing and supplying a replacement refrigerated dryer unit, but in the inte...rim period waiting for the new GARDNER DENVER water cooled 1750cfm dryer to arrive, the plant still needed dry air to operate. CSI sourced and provided a rental weather proofed desiccant dryer package with air hoses to hook-up and act as an interim purification system which eventually ran for 8 weeks until the new GD refrigerated was able to be positioned and re-piped. Our client was very happy with the service especially as this occurred over a hot summer and fall period. The new dryer system is working well and despite some challenging pipe work modifications the installation looks very clean and tidy.
