Pink Shirt Day is February 24th. It began in 2007 when two high school students in Nova Scotia stood up for a boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Pink Shirt Day aims to bring awareness to the issue of bullying and raise funds to help programs for self esteem. World Social Justice Day is February 20th. World Social Justice Day recognizes the need to tackle a number of issues including the basic tenants of Concentus: racism, mental health, gender equality and human rights.
